TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read the following Terms & Conditions prior to booking one of our courses:

 

Bookings & Payments

​

  • All courses include a non-refundable booking fee. 

 

Training courses:

  •  When booking a place on one of our courses you will have the option to pay in full or pay the Booking fee and then the remaining balance to pay at least 21 days before the course start day. The non-refundable booking fee will be included in the total price paid *Please note booking fees are non-refundable and are only valid for the course and date originally booked

  • If you are unable to attend a course you may transfer to the same course at a later date providing 14 days' notice is given and the course has been paid for in full. This is at the discretion of Uniqtu Academy, and we will only accommodate this in the first instance

  • If the full balance hasn’t been paid 21 days before the date of the course you will receive a payment reminder, failure to pay in full within the agreed time may result in your course being cancelled and the loss of payment.

  • A minimum of 14 days notice must be given if you are unable to attend a course, failure to do so will result in the loss of payment.

  • If you are unable to attend due to illness, or an emergency please contact us at your earliest convenience, the remaining balance will be held and transferred to the same course at a later date however the original booking fee will be null and void and a new booking fee will be charged.

  • It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that they read the full details of the course prior to booking and adhere to any requests or prerequisites.

Attending your course

​

  • Please be on time for your course, if you are more than 15 minutes late you may not be able to attend. If you are running late please contact us to let us know.

  • Uniqtu Academy is not responsible for the loss or damage of any valuables or possessions which occur within the building or location where the courses are held.

  • Uniqtu Academy cannot be held responsible for the costs or loss of earnings due to course cancellation.

  • In the very unlikely event of Uniqtu Academy cancelling a course, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange alternative dates.

  • Students must be willing to receive the treatment as part of their course if there are many reasons why this will not be possible please advise us when booking.

  • Instructions will be sent detailing how to prepare for your course, if you do not adhere to these instructions you may not be able to partake in the course.

  • Students who are pregnant or breastfeeding must advise us prior to booking a place on a course so that we can make necessary arrangements if required.

  • Chaperones are only permitted if there is a physical or medical need, and it has been arranged with us beforehand.

  • Students must advise when booking if they have any allergies, medical conditions, dietary requirements or if they require any special assistance so that we can make the appropriate arrangements.

  • For insurance purposes students must complete a Student Consultation Form and a Student Confirmation Form during the course, students who do not complete both forms will be unable to partake in training.

Transferring a course date

​​​

  • A minimum of 14 days' notice must be given if you would like to transfer a course date. We can provide an alternative date as long as it is noticed 14 days prior course start day. If notice is received less than 14 days prior to the course start the day then a £69 transfer admin fee will be charged. 

  • An only one-time transfer is available per course payment. Failure to attend the course the second time will result in a loss of payment and to attend the course you need to purchase the course again by paying the full course price again. 

  • No refund is provided in event of a course transfer or if the booked day has to be rescheduled for any reason outside the Uniqtu Academy's control.

Refunds

​​

  • Refunds for course fees (not including non-refundable booking fees) are at the discretion of Uniqtu Academy, providing notice of at least 21 days is given prior to the course starting.

  • Booking fees are non-refundable after payment is made.

  • Any payments made once the course has started are non-refundable.

  • Online courses are non-refundable or exchangeable.

  • If you have changed your mind about any kits or products you have purchased please contact us within 7 days, a refund will only be given if the product is unused and unopened.

  • If you have purchased a kit or product that is faulty please contact us so that we can raise the issue with the manufacturer.

  • Kits and products included as part of the course are non-refundable unless faulty.

 

Course instructions

  • Course instructions and venue details are sent out to students approx within 7 to 14 days before the course start date. In your provided email address, you will get course information and other notifications. If you have not received any course instructions before the course date then please contact us.

  • Please be aware that it is your responsibility as a student to provide accurate contact information when making the bookings.

  • You should also check your junk email box, we will not be held responsible for students not receiving emails instructions and refunds will not be issued in such circumstances. It is the student's duty to make sure they have received all information.

  • If you do not receive information about the course 7 days before your course please contact us.

 

After your course

​

  • Additional or replacement certificates issued will be chargeable at £14.00 per certificate plus postage if applicable.

  • All documents, training manuals and training videos supplied by Uniqtu Academy must not be copied, reproduced, shared or used in any way other than its intended use, all documentation is subject to copyright to Uniqtu Academy.

  • Our tutors are always available after your course to provide as much support as needed. Free refresher courses are offered to students who require further help and guidance; in order to book a free refresher course, students must have attended a course within the previous 12 weeks. We will ask for evidence from 4 case studies so that our tutor can gain an understanding of the support you require. If you cannot provide the required evidence or your course was more than 12 weeks ago you will not be entitled to a free course.

Digital shop

​

  • You will receive only digital files, no printed files will be mailed. All listings are DIGITAL DOWNLOADS. You will not receive physical items with a digital purchase.

  • All templates downloaded come as a PDF file. Text boxes, graphics and words cannot be moved or edited. These files can be printed at home on your computer or at a local print shop.

  • All digital templates are non-refundable or exchangeable. 

  • FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY! You may NOT forward, distribute, sell, share, or alter the file! Mass production, file sharing, and commercial use of this printable are strictly prohibited. Copyright violators will be prosecuted.

E-Shop Refunds 

​

You can return items to us within 30 days of receipt. Due to the nature and hygiene of our products, ALL products must be unopened and in its original shipped condition for the return to be accepted. Any products that have been opened or tampered with will not be accepted for return.

The purchaser is liable for any return postage costs, we regret to inform you that we do not offer a free returns service.
